Born and raised in Southern California (SoCal, as we locals call it. Yes. I realize that makes me sound super snobby), I've been lucky enough to have been brought up by weird parents. My dad raised me in a tipi atop a lonely mountain, and a boat where our table turned into our bed, while my mom read me the 'real' fairytales and was convinced that a 6 year old could watch a man rip a heart out of a chest while chanting, "Kali Mah, KALI MAH" and grow up to be perfectly normal.
I've been making up stories since I could talk, writing them since I learned how to properly put words together, and when I'm not doing that, I'm reading obscene amounts of books, manga, and comics. Sorta in that order.
I spent literally every day of my childhood reading and making up (or writing) stories because I was a nerd with glasses and freckles and was shrimpy. I'm the reason the grade school put locks on the libraby when the found out I was hiding there. By 6th grade I'd found Sailor Moon Fan fiction and took fingers to keypad. I regret nothing I wrote for 7 years.
I love tea. LOVE IT. I'm 9/10th's made of sugary tea. I like to collect interesting friends (so like, all of you), vintage tea cups, and plants. In that order. But also I love traveling, and have backpacked through Ireland and England twice so far! Ask me about the time Anime saved my life in Limerick, Ireland!
Also, looking at that above statement, man...I need to travel to more countries!
